Machine & Needle Theory

Machine & Needle Theory is a fantastic class for new microblading and permanent makeup artists as well as those who have previously used only classic permanent makeup needles (as opposed to universal tattoo needles and/or cartridges).

You will have your equipment questions answered and will be shown a variety of techniques for machine brow shading as well as touch on skin and pigment basics.

This class precedes our 2 Day Microblading to Machine brow shading class.

• This class is perfect for anyone who is wants to learn more about needles and the differences in permanent makeup machines. It will help with choosing the right needle for skin type and also covers the best pigment type for technique.

  This is a half-day theory only class and will lead into our 2 Day Microblading to Machine brow shading class.

• This class is a 4 Hour face-to-face, in-depth presentation that covers:
  • Different type of machines for permanent makeup
  • Needles (types, sizes, tapers, textured, understanding packaging)
  • How to achieve brow shading patterns
  • Showcase 3 different machine shading techniques
  • Machine handling (speed & angle for different techniques)
  • Skin anatomy & healing
  • Correct depth for pigment
  • Basic colour & pigment composition theory

  Stephanie Wilson, CPCP CTAE

  Stephanie began her career in Australia as a beauty therapist (esthetician) and took her first training in permanent makeup in 1999.

  After moving to Canada, she spent time working as an instructor at Micropigmentation centre, Canada before joining Kelly Hallam in Halcyon Cosmetic Solutions Ltd. She is a Certified Permanent Cosmetics Professional (CPCP), a certified trainer and is one of only 3 SPCP Trainer members in Canada.

  Stephanie is skilled in many techniques for permanent makeup and microblading and continues to work in Halcyon Cosmetics busy clinic offering procedures for eyebrows, eyeliner, lip colour & paramedical tattooing. She has been fortunate to work and train in a variety of locations and is committed to her own education.
